The last night

Into town and we spy some places then go to the comedy pub for aperitif. I end up with an odd one containing brown ale raspberry and an unidentified aperitif. It was ok a bit like very expensive newcastle brown.
The places we had spied were all full and we ended up in the Asiatic palace a sort of chinese vietnamese number. Went down well if a bit pricey. I took the girls for an ice cream and chatted with a nice lady from Quebec. Home on the last bus and sit the garden drinking wine, watching bats and listening to noisy kids playing till near midnight.
