Tuesday - Prepare for the Celtic Invasion

Audrey and her husband Chris touch down today on their whistle stop weightloss surgery tour. Nice one - cant wait. Early lunch as going to tesco straight after DN. Go to to Mums and she has been shook up by an old caller in the middle of the night. Turns out to be a local drunk knocking on the door about 10.30pm. My mother is, what is politely described as a"a poor historian." We prefer to say that things have been through the scrambler. A strange language misinterpretation device in which things get confused. She started going on on about "wet sides" last week, things became clearer when it was realised she meant web sites.
Anyway she is clearly feeling lonely and vulnerable so by way of diversion and escapism we take her to Morrisons in Belle Vale. I had not had the pleasure of shopping there before and was, frankly, impressed. Bigger than Tescos, an altogether more pleasant shopping experience.
Chris and Audrey arrive sometime in the afternoon. They have got lost getting to a hotel so turn up here. I answer the door with a mouthful of Danish and a look of astonishment. In shock, I leave the cooking, they wanna get booked in somewhere so we trek up Queens drive in Convoy and get them booked into the stag and rainbow travel inn motel lodge thing.
Back to the house finish making bog element of pasta bog. Go and pick up Auds and Chris having a great time meal goes well pasta bog and apple crumble then out into garden for photos which will appear later. A bloomin good night.
