So Friday replayed

A busy day at the office, involved moving offices during and after the GMS contract working group. Things are lined up for Monday with EMIS after a fashion. Got home about 5.30 some crisps and milk then off out for tea. Meet up with Kim in the Richmond, a fair int of pedigree, and off to the venue for tonights gig. The Patio another Penny Lane Allerton road gaff but surprisingly good. Tough Ali whose leaving doo it was has mean taste. It was a strange juddery start tothe night, people who work together feeling a bit nervous made even more so by the presence of the line manager and CEO. Settled down at one end with a good bunch, Kim, Angela who was also leavin, Gail and Andy. FIne banter all night and a raspin debate about the chronology of Blue Peter presenters. The beer was not much cop dreaded smoothflow, John Smiths I think. Some house red, palatable. Then food broke out. I started with chicken liver pate, binned the carbs and ate 80% it was a nice smooth texture and very tasty. The menu was special there was more to choose from than ever menu before. I settled for a selection of prawns. The range of seafood was excellent and most available in starter main sizes. I had large prawn selection which was 16 king boys. 4 in jackets barbequed (all gone) 4 in garlic and erb butter(did 2), 4 in white wine and cream (2 down) and 4 in sweet chilli (2 down). Top stuff. Scabbed a bit of angelas pud a fine malteset cheesecake. Coffee, tops worked out at 35 quid a head. Kims need for nicotine drove us off the Richmond, more pedigree saw the Murph from Merseycare and away.
