Visited yesterday by Sarah

A sleevester and straight woman helped me realise a few things and crystallise a few thoughts.
As a result I got round to explaining to people where I had been.
Dear friend colleague family member or acquaintance, apologies for the round robin nature of this email but I been missing in action in March. I felt I should update you all and remind you of my existence.
On the 2nd of March I was admitted to our local hospital following seizures and with a headache. I was given a CT scan the next day and treated conservatively with paracetamol. I complained of pain all weekend and got to see a junior Doctor on Sunday evening, he looked at the CT report and examined me. This resulted in a 3am transfer to the specialist Neurological centre, where that morning I had a CT angiogram, and that afternoon coil embolization, (http://www.brainandspine.org.uk/information/publications/brain_and_spine_booklets/coiling_of_brain_aneurysms/index.html) of a ruptured aneurysm in my middle cerebral artery. I was left with some pain following the sub arachnoid haemorrhage but mercifully no neurological deficit. Discharged on the following Friday and with feeling at first denial and now anger I am only really left with extreme general tiredness as a symptom. Those who know me well would know I would appreciate a big bandage or at least a t-shirt.
So if I owe you an email, or haven’t called you, or appeared to drop off the face of the earth then I hope this explains. I continue to interfere in WLSinfo, and will return. I am on sick leave from the small part time permitted work I had at Abbey Sefton, again I hope to return.
I am building up exercise stamina, surrendering my driving license has increased steps walked and immersing myself in photography, a rekindled passion. I also wanted to say thanks for the positive thoughts and wishes sent my way and again it would appear that I still have a job to do in this world and not planning on checking out yet. So if I haven’t done something then apols but will be in touch.
Regards

Ken Clare
