Buses

Losing my licence has had major consequences on travel. The big man is on the bus. A great social leveller believe you me. I don't feel good on a bus I panicf a lot. Is this the righjt bus. How much will it be. Which company is it? What's the protocol for queing? Where do I sit? I feel huge on a bus. Where do I get off? And the crunch what do I say to the driver to thank him for the conveyance. It is apparently now de rigeur to express thanks as you alight. When did that happen. As usual in my life I seem a novice and everyone else looks quietly assured. They all have buses sussed. The couple embark in a lively debate about the relative merits of saveaway, trio and dayrider. I obviously am the only dude paying cash.
